1:1 Anticipatory and Post Loss Support

Receive personalized attention and support while sharing your feelings in a safe, non-judgmental space. Allow me to help you identify, discuss and reframe your individual challenges within the grieving process.

Anticipatory grief occurs prior to actually losing your pet companion and consists of a range of emotions including fear, guilt, anxiety, and frustration. Caring for a terminally ill or geriatric pet can be a very difficult experience and I am here to support you through this process.

Post loss grief can feel like your world is turned upside down. For me, it felt like I was missing a limb. Navigating the waters after the loss of your beloved pet can be so difficult.
I will sit with you in your pain and hear you as you express the thoughts, images, and feelings that trouble you.

My goal is that you will feel less alone as you process your loss. You’ll be able to express shock, anger, sadness, guilt, anxiety, disorientation, or any other emotion that comes with grief. Ultimately, my hope is that you will be able to remember your fur baby with more love than pain.

Support can be via:

  • Zoom

  • Phone Call

  • In-person (for those living in the bay area)

Grief Walks (bay area residents)

Walking while you are grieving may help you take steps toward healing. Walking won’t solve all your problems or make your sense of loss disappear, but it could help you on your path to healing. Grieving, after all, is a process — a transition from one way of living to another. You want to honor that process, but you don’t want to get stuck in it. Walking through your grief may give you just the momentum you need to help move forward.

  • I can support you by walking with you and your pet companion as you navigate anticipatory grief.

  • I will walk with you while offering some guided meditation and companionship when venturing out on your first walks without your fur baby.
